Comprehensive On-Site Support for Air Filtration Systems

Achieving and maintaining optimal air filtration extends beyond the initial system installation. Regular maintenance is essential to keeping a system operating at peak performance and ensure long-term air quality. PureAir’s Field Service Team offers a variety of on-site services to maintain, enhance, and certify the effectiveness of air filtration systems. Working within operating constraints, solutions are developed to identify the necessary steps to deliver G1 air quality (ANSI/ISA-71.04-2013)* and long-term equipment performance.

The field service team is trained to handle every job safely and professionally, holding certifications and training that include, but are not limited to:

  • OSHA 30 Certification – Comprehensive workplace safety training
  • NFPA 70E Training – Electrical safety and arc flash protection
  • Pre-Site Training – Site-specific safety compliance

Room Sealing & Integrity Testing (Exclusive Offering)

A properly sealed room ensures that purified “good” air stays in while corrosive and harmful air stays out. Effective room sealing enhances efficiency and reduces operational costs by minimizing the energy needed to clean and condition incoming air. PureAir’s service team will define room measurements and entry points, identify all penetrations and bypasses, conduct the full sealing process, and perform a Room Integrity Test (RIT). The RIT detects leaks and ensures complete room sealing. Room Integrity Testing can be performed as a standalone service or as a final step of PureAir’s room sealing service.

Media Changeouts

Ensuring a filtration system operates efficiently starts with proper replacement of chemisorbant media. The changeout process includes:

  • Safe removal and disposal of spent media
  • Installation of replacement media

Corrosivity Test Kit (CTK) Service

The Field Service Team can place Corrosivity Test Kits (CTKs) into designated areas to assess air quality. After 30 days, CTKs are retrieved and delivered to PureAir’s in-house laboratory for analysis. A report will be sent to the customer detailing the room’s air quality based upon the corrosion on the silver and copper strips. If preferred, CTKs can be placed and retried by the customer.

Proactive Dynamic Quality Service (PDQS)

A PDQS is a comprehensive service designed to evaluate, document, and enhance the air quality of protected rooms within a facility. The team conducts a thorough inspection to identify air quality concerns and works to remediate them as needed. The results help PureAir address issues and deliver the best filtration solutions for optimal environmental control and to attain G1 air quality. The PDQS includes:

  • Room Assessment
  • ISA G Rating Classification
  • Minor Bypass Sealing (a quote will be provided for any extensive sealing)
  • Comprehensive Reporting and Action Plan

Preventative Maintenance (PM) Service

Following a PDQS, the PM Service ensures the reliability and efficiency of air scrubbers. This service includes:

  • Inspection of scrubber operation
  • Belt condition checks and replacement
  • Lubrication of motor bearings
  • Recording of key room metrics
  • Media sampling and filter replacement
  • Identification of necessary repairs for mill staff or PureAir’s Field Service Team to perform

LIFEGARD™ and Environment Corrosivity Monitor (ECMv2) Installations

The Field Service Team will install LIFEGARD™ Media Bed Monitors onto air filtration systems seamlessly. Retrofitting can be done in less than a day if installing on a competitor unit. The team will install ECMv2 into customer-designated rooms (wiring or communications backbone by others).
